In 1980, JRC was awarded the ultimate honor in the Country Music Industry as he was inducted into the Hall of Fame. He also had the unique distinction of being the youngest living member ever inducted into the Hall. Later in life , Johnny Cash became to only artist elected to the CMA Hall of Fame, The Song Writers Hall of Fame, and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Through all the awards and honors, John always thought of the CMA Hall as being one of the peaks of his career. |
