JR Cash

High School Days 

Back in Dyess, Arkansas

       John was remembered by many of his high school friends as shy, but with a great sense of humor. In a "A Man Called Cash", John was thought of as a boy with a dream to go to the big world beyond the boundaries of Dyess. During those days he was known as "JR". It was later when he joined the Army that his name was changed to John R. Cash.
