"Man In Black" Release

After months of writing by hand, John released his first autobiography in 1975. The book would later go on to sell 1.5 million copies. John's second biography would be released twenty-three years later, called "Cash." This later work would done in co-authorship with Patrick Carr. In this picture John Carter, John, Mother Maybelle, and Peter Kladder (President of Zondervan Publishing), celebrate the release of "Man In Black."
