The Eighties

The 1980's were a very trying time for Johnny Cash. Though he started the decade by being the youngest living person ever inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, he found himself unceremoniously dropped from the Columbia label. This paired Cash with fellow legends Willie Nelson, Kris Kristofferson , and Waylon Jennings.  The team released a total of three albums and toured together.
