Hi CashFans....I too attended the Tribute but I'm not great at relating events. I wish I had contacted Mike when he said he got tickets as I thought till then that I was the only CashFan from the Forum/Chatroom that would be there. Sorry Mike, would have loved to have met you. We arrived at the theatre before the doors opened. Once inside, we were directed to the second balcony, found our seats, and they were behind a big pole and some TV apparatus. Near tears, I found an usher who gave us tickets for the 1st balcony....but we were told there that there were so such seats...again near tears. Another usher then told us we should be on the floor. Went to the floor and there were no such seats there either. Was about to make a crying scene ! A very nice fellow came to our rescue and we were issued tickets to seats in row J on the floor, in the middle of the Press folks, where we could see and hear very well. The gal next to me was from TBS and told me that the dress rehersal was very very emotional and that John's voice was in great tone. I won't go into the acts and songs as they have been covered very well already. John Voight did introduce Flesh and Blood as Flesh and Bones and had to do a retake on that. All the acts were great, and it was a wonderful Tribute. I was there to hear just one performer....THE ONE AND ONLY MAN IN BLACK. Tears did flow..and CashFans, our prayers have been heard and answered. He was in great voice. I was so proud of him up there on the stage and we all need to Thank God for answering our prayers and allowing that "just one more time on stage".
